'Cytherea''Cytherea' is a beacon among peonies because she is so early and such a brilliant shade of neon cherry pink. The semi double blooms are displayed just above the low, compact plant and have a lovely fragrance. The bees adore them! As the flowers mature, the colour softens to paler shades, creating a wonderful, multi toned effect in the garden. A deserved winner of the American Peony Society Gold Medal in 1980 and the Award of Landscape Merit in 2009.
